Type
Every Thursday, I play in a baseball league with a bunch of my friends in Trinity Bellwoods. While I was on my way to baseball last week I noticed Type had a new window display. I really liked it so I thought I would share it with you as well!

West, Queen West
I'm always so excited to hear when people show an interest in my work so I was honored to hear that my sister wanted to give one of my photos away as birthday present to a close friend.
Her friend had seen the photo hanging in our washroom a couple weekends ago. She liked it so much my sister asked if she could give it to her as a birthday present. Of course I said yes! So I thought I would share it with you as well.
The photo was taken in Toronto, Ontario, in 2009 and is of the south side of Queen West just past Walnut. It also happens to be right beside my sister's apartment complex (not captured) and is of some of my favorite boutique stores on Queen West such as Type, Preloved and The Paper Place just to name a few!

Living Room Sessions: Volume 2
A couple weekends ago a bunch of our friends went to Central, a restaurant and bar just south of Bloor on Markham St. in Toronto,to support one of our friends, Drew, as he played tracks from his new album. Some of our closest friends and a few other sweet acts were playing too. Here are some photo's from the night.

Carmen Elle
"Carmen Elle is the wisest teenager I've ever met," states Robin Sharp from blogTO. Born and raised in Toronto, Carmen has spent her childhood and adolescence learning and mastering her abilities as a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and performer.
She also happens to be the first person I "professionally" photographed!
These photo's were taken in 2009 for a media kit a close friend was working on while attending Harris Institute for Arts Management.

Let me introduce myself...
My name is Danielle and I am a self-taught photographer and the author of Danielle Arnold Photography blog.
Creativity is everything to me. I am constantly thinking about design, typography, color, art and photography. I could spend hours taking photographs, reading about design and creativity, as well as designing and editing my own work.
I know I've always wanted to create a blog so I'm happy to officially launch my blog Danielle Arnold Photography. It will be a place for me to document my work and share my inspirations as well as pieces of my own life.
Enjoy!
